For career in Pharmacy, one must pursue wiht science and math subjects at their High School levels. Science classes are good preparation for the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree curriculum. Courses in biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics are especially desirable.

The Pharm.D. degree program requires at least 2-years of specific pre-professional (undergraduate) coursework followed by 3 years of professional study.
